Types of Numerology

Mathematics played a major role in planting the seeds of the study of Numerology in the earlier days. Thousands of years ago, Different types of Numerology was understood and comprehended in different ways, depending on what kind of culture and time period it was prevailing in. Even though it may not have scientifically gained much importance, but it did create a significant impact on civilisation, in general.

The roots of Numerology predictions is traced back to the age when civilisations like Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Egyptian, and Babylonian existed. Even though the knowledge gained was not deep enough to get into the details of it, but it somehow helped people to find some of their answers to their questions. The concept of Numerology gained a lot of acceptance as well because of the unique and mystical connection between numbers and events taking place around oneself.

Chaldean Numerology

This type of Numerology is also known as the Mystical Numerology and in spite of this form of Numerology not being used that often, it is known for its accuracy and precision while making predictions. The Chaldean Numerology is based on the vibrations emitted by a certain number, which gives its unique characteristics. Originated in Ancient Babylonia, interestingly Chaldean was also a tribe of people who used to live in ancient Babylonia in around 10th century BC. In this type of Numerology, the single digits signify outer influences and the inner ones signify the inner aspects of a person.

Kabbalah Numerology

Kabbalah Numerology is also quite mystical in its essence as it is said to have been originated from the Hebrew mystical science . It is one of the most known forms of Numerology and is one of the most popular forms as well. Here, each letter of the alphabets holds a certain value, which in turn, signifies specific characteristics. This form of Numerology helps people to discover and find their inner self and also helps them to accept the qualities that they exhibit so that they can work on themselves to become a perfect human being.

Tamil Numerology

Tamil Numerology is also known as Indian or Vedic Numerology and is considered to be of one of the oldest forms. Here, the numbers range from 1-9, each holding a specific characteristic which helps in knowing oneself completely. It comprises three main numbers, namely, Psychic Number, Destiny Number, and Name Number. All of these numbers have certain importance with regards to certain qualities that each person imbibes. Western Numerology

Western Numerology is also known as Pythagorean Numerology, and this form was developed by Pythagoras who was a Greek philosopher and a mathematician. This type of Numerology came about because he thought that everything could be broken down into numbers or mathematical calculations. All the numbers ranging from 1-9 hold certain energy and vibrations which can be both used positively or negatively. This form of Numerology is mostly used by the western countries today and is among the most popular form to be used till now.
