India-China Border Pact may fizzle out under aggressive posture of the Chinese

India and China have signed a key border defence pact called the Border Defence Cooperation Agreement (BDCA) on Wednesday, 23rd October 2013. The transiting Moon was in Taurus sign and Mrigasira Nakshatra, that is placed in the 3rd House of India’s Country Chart and in the 5th House of China’s Country Chart. Hence, initially, this agreement may look like to be instrumental in maintaining peace, stability and tranquility along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). However, upon further analysis, it is observed that Moon was placed in the star of Mars, and the star Lord Mars is placed in the fiery sign of Leo. In addition, Mercury was retrograde at the time when this agreement between the two countries was signed and also afflicted severely by Saturn and Rahu. Hence, the border pact may not serve the actual cause it is meant for.

China is currently under the influence of Saturn-Mars period, which will continue till May 2014. In China’s foundation chart, Saturn is placed in the 8th House of secrecy. Mars is in the 7th House of war and in D-9 and D-10 charts, it is in the 10th House, which clearly reflects the aggressive intentions of China. It is crystal clear that China will continue to strengthen its military power despite its public gestures of intending to establish peace and harmony, especially with its neighbours.

India will be under the influence of Ketu Bhukti from 5th May 2014. Ketu is placed in the Scorpio sign, in the 7th House of war in India’s country chart. Ketu Bhukti may result in instances of terrorist activities, violence and territorial disputes occurring from the said time frame. India may witness provocative intrusion during the later half of year 2014. Currently, the transiting Saturn and Rahu are passing through the 4th House from Moon in India’s country chart. Hence, India can’t afford to be complacent about its security. It seems that the new border pact signed with China will quite possibly prove to be as ineffective as the previous border agreements.
