Earthquake in Sumatra

Earthquake of 6.1 magnitude struck southwest of the Indonesian island of Sumatra on 23rd of November, the U.S. Geological Survey said. However, no immediate reports of damage or casualties were received and no tsunami alert was issued. Ganesha gives a deep analysis of the reasons behind this earthquake.

When the lunar month commences Libra rises in Sumatra. Moon placed in the airy sign with debilitated Sun and Mercury in trine with Mars, Uranus and Rahu. Majority of planets are placed in the airy sign. Ascendant Lord is debilitated in the 12th house and is placed in the earthy sign Virgo in square with Pluto and Mars. Saturn-Jupiter-Rahu was in Mutual Square. So, there are clear indications of natural calamity like quake.

Quake generally occurs around Full or New moon. This quake also occurred near Full moon. Moon was transiting in Aries and the sign Lord Mars is retrograde and placed in the airy sign Gemini. Sun-Rahu-Saturn and Ketu were in mutual angle. Jupiter conjunct Pluto in opposition with retrograde Mars is a threatening factor. The quake is more intense due to involvement of retrograde Mars.

Ganesha has foreseen the possibility in earlier article. The quake occurred just before the day of the given dates. From 19th December, Saturn would be moving retrograde and that might increase the risk. December 8, 25, 2007, January 8, 19, 26 of 2008 and February 8 in 2008 are dangerous dates.
