Tremlett will be the biggest threat and challenge for Indian batsmen, feels Ganesha

Former England great Geoff Boycott feels that his country is in a strong position, having won the ongoing series against Sri Lanka, and its players are raring to go against the Indians who are playing without their big-shots currently in the West Indies – during the upcoming series starting July 15. The big guns of Indian cricket have had sufficient rest after the World Cup and will be itching to go full throttle against England, who will enjoy the home advantage. And England are looking to exploit this advantage to the hilt with Chris Tremlett – the 6′-8” strike bowler who leads a formidable pace attack – calling for fast pitches to be prepared against India in the series, which will feature four Test matches, five ODIs and a one-off T20 game.

Ganesha with the help of Vedic astrology takes a look at the planetary support that the key players of both sides will enjoy during the much-anticipated series.

Sachin Tendulkar
Due to the favourable transit of Jupiter and Rahu, master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar will bat with perfect balance, accuracy in strokes, and good anticipation. He will contribute useful runs in the first Test match against England. But the transiting Sun in Cancer may not help him much. So he may not be able to convert a good start into a big score that might disappoint his fans. He will be in good form during the second Test and may score valuable runs, particularly during the first innings. He will be in good touch in the third Test again during the first innings, but may get out after a solid start. The transiting Sun will be passing through Leo in Magha Nakshatra during the 4th Test. So he will be in full form during the last Test match. And if India bat second, particularly on the last day of the match, he may play a big innings.

Gautam Gambhir
The most reliable opener of India, Gautam Gambhir will not have much planetary support during the first Test match. However, if India bat first, he may get some useful runs on the first day. The transiting Rahu may cause a few problems for him during the second Test match. His performance will be disappointing. However, he will regain his form in the third Test and if India bat first he will score useful runs. In the final Test match, his performance will be very ordinary in the first innings. But if India bat on the final day, he may contribute valuable runs. So it could be a roller coaster ride for him.

Rahul Dravid
‘The Wall’ of Indian cricket, Rahul Dravid will have positive influence of transiting Jupiter and Rahu during the England Tour. He may begin his campaign on a positive note in the first Test. But his performance may not match his potential. However, he will be in great form in the second Test. And if India bat first, he may play a big innings. He will continue his form in the first innings of third Test as well. He may not get out after a good start in the final Test match.

VVS Laxman
Wristy, willowy and sinuous middle-order batsman VVS Laxman will have plenty of support from transiting Jupiter and Rahu during the England tour. However, he may get out cheaply in the first Test match. But transiting Sun and Moon in Cancer will help him in the second Test match. His performance with the bat will be excellent and may help India at a crucial stage of the match. He will continue his excellent form in the third Test as well. However, he may not be able to stay on the pitch for long in the final Test.

Zaheer Khan
The transiting Sun in Cancer and Jupiter in Aries will help Indian fast bowler Zaheer Khan during the England tour. However, he will be slightly wayward during the first Test but will be able to take one or two vital wickets if India bowl first. He may not perform as per his reputation during the second Test. However, he will regain his form in the third Test and may pick up important wickets particularly during the first innings. He will be in tremendous form in the final Test match and his bowling performance, particularly during the second innings, will help Team India immensely.

Jonathan Trott
This solid middle-order batsman looks set to enjoy a roller coaster ride during this Test series. The transiting Jupiter and Mercury will be helpful to him during the tournament, but the transiting Sun and Rahu may cause a few glitches for him. His campaign will begin on a bright note with a good innings in the first Test. However, scoring high against India will be difficult for him. Trott will have a good second Test as well. Yet, all may not be well in some of the other matches. He may not be able to convert a good start into a big innings in the third Test match. This unpredictable player may again find his rhythm and score useful runs in the final Test match.

Ian Bell
The compact and stylish England middle-order batsman, Ian Bell will have good fortune with the bat during this Test series. Due to favourable transit of Moon, Mars and Venus he is likely to begin his campaign in a confident manner and may score well in the first match. But his performance in the second Test will be very average. His form may pick up in the third Test and he is likely to play a big innings. His performance in the final Test will be good, and he is likely to play a very important knock for England.

Chris Tremlett
The explosive fast bowler of England, Chris Tremlett will have plenty of planetary support during this Test series. The transiting Mars, Jupiter and Rahu will have a positive impact on his bowling performance. He will begin his campaign on a positive note and may bowl with tremendous aggression in the first match, but may not be able to take wickets as per expectations. He will be in good form in the second Test, and may jolt the Indians by taking one or two early wickets. He will be very effective in the third Test as well. His performance will be excellent in the fourth Test. Tremlett will be a real threat and challenge for the Indian batsmen during the series.
