Preah Vihear Temple is currently under the dispute of ownership between Thailand and Cambodia, at the International Court of Justice. This temple was created by Suryavarman I, a King of Khmer Empire from 1010 A.D. to 1050 A.D. and Suryavarman II another king of Khmer Empire 1113 A.D. to 1150 A.D. It is a Lord Shiva temple. Cambodia continued with the application for World Heritage and Preah Vihear Temple was inscribed on the list of World Heritage sites despite Thai protests.
