LV Taps Squid Game’s Jung Ho-Yeon As Its New Global Face

SpongeBob SquarePants is not the only place you would have heard the Squid-ward now. Luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton announced on Oct 7 that they have roped in the 29-year-old Jung Ho-Yeon as their new global face. Ho-Yeon is the actor of the Korean survival drama series on Netflix ‘Squid Game’ that has taken the world by storm. 

Ho-Yeon marks her debut with this psychological thriller, where she plays the role of a North Korean refugee Kang Sae-byeok which means Player no 067. 

This, however, is not her first brush with Louis Vuitton. As a model, Ho-Yeon has walked down the runway for various global fashion brands including Louis Vuitton. She has been selected as the luxury brand‘s Global House Ambassador for fashion, watches, and jewellery. The French luxury house dropped a stunning picture of Ho-Yeon to make the announcement.
