Sania Mirza to miss Fed Cup tie

Introduction: India’s tennis sensation Sania Mirza made a wonderful comeback after a hiatus by winning the Australian Open mixed doubles title with Tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi. The Hyderabadi lass remained off the tennis court for a good part of 2008. From playing court to battling controversies and injuries, it has been a fairy tale for Sania so far. But unfortunately she has been in a slump and there are reports that Sania will miss the upcoming Group I Asia/Oceania zone tie, citing an abdominal injury.
