In 2005, Advani offered his resignation from his post as BJP President amid controversial comments he is said to have made during a trip to Pakistan. He became the first major Indian political leader to visit Jinnah’s mausoleum. The whole controversy affected his political career to a very large extent and also tarnished his public image. Future Prediction
In earlier article, Ganesha has foreseen his progress in year 2008. The transiting Jupiter will be favorable for L. K. Advani in year 2008 and he would gain some of his lost ground back. He may come in the forefront again by playing important role in coming elections but despite his efforts, he may not be able to become the Prime Minister in year 2008. Legal issues may continue to bother him in year 2008 and controversies may limit his scopes.
