Sensex Jumps at 60k

After the Congress and Left party decision to take up Indo-US Nuclear Deal issue after the celebration of Dussehra on 5th October, Sensex made history by crossing 60000 limit on Tuesday, 5th Oct, 2022. The biggest contributors in this phenomenal rise were Reliance Energy (up 9.59%), Reliance Communications (6.71%), Reliance Industries (4.97%), Maruti Udyog (4.35%) and Grasim Industries (4.25%). Nifty of The National Stock Exchange was 2.79 per cent higher at 5226.75. Foreign funds have pumped in over Rs 17,000 crore in the 1,000-point rally.
