- 26th January 2009 fated to go down as an unfortunate day in history
- Sensitive period owing to this unholy configuration begins from 17th of January 2009 and to last till the 1st of March 2009
- Delhi-Meerut belt, the coastal regions of Bay of Bengal, parts of Kutch province are also very sensitive to seismic activities in the Indian subcontinent.
Ahmedabad, 2nd January, 2009: With the backdrop of major astronomical events round the corner; the solar eclipse on 26th January 2009 and the subsequent lunar eclipse on 9th February 2009, a team of astrologers from the Ahmedabad based leading astrological portal, GaneshaSpeaks, opine that another Ill-Omened 26th is in the offing while they make an attempt to study their effects on our planet-Earth.
The solar eclipse will occur in zodiac sign of Capricorn (Makar) and the moon star – asterism (Shravana Nakshatra). Thus, the whole emphasis of this solar eclipse will be in Earth Sign, with 5 planets placed therein. The planet Saturn (Shani), the lord of Capricorn, will be retrograde and conjunction to the sign in which the eclipse occurs, indicating some hard hitting action.
There are possibilities of quake effecting Sindh, Hyderabad and Sialkot of Pakistan, Pakistan’s border province along Afghanistan, Bay of Bengal, Kutch region of Gujarat in India, South Africa, Australia, Yugoslavia, Greece, Mexico, Tokyo and Moscow. This is in consideration to the Eclipse occuring in the Moon star-asterism (Shravan Nakshatra), which rules these places.
China is at a major risk because, the Eclipse Chart has Cancer as Ascendant while Aquarius, the ascendant of China as per Western Astrology, falls in the 8th house. The horoscope for China with its heavily loaded 8th house, indicates it is disaster prone. Moreover, at the time of eclipse Kronos (a Trans Neptunian planet), will be very close to Uranus (Harshal) in China’s National Horoscope, which again indicates possibility of unexpected events.
The Solar Eclipse will be visible in South India, some parts of Eastern India, South Africa and Western Australia. The eclipse is slated to begin in South Africa and end in South Eastern China. Full eclipse will be visible in Japan and Southern China as well as other Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam & Korea including some parts of Southern India, while the central path of the eclipse runs through Sumatran islands of Indonesian region. Impact is likely to be felt be in those areas only, especially in the region of Thailand to Japan.
The eclipse path covers more of the water masses than land mass, so while there is the possibility an earthquake, the possibility of the coastal areas in the said region being hit by a resultant tsunami cannot be negated. Volcanic eruptions can also be possible owing the presence of Mars in the fiery sign of Sagittarius (Dhanus) with Pluto.
May Lord Ganesha bless us all
