Rahul ‘The Wall’ Dravid will rise from the rubble, says Ganesha
After a lengthy stint on the sidelines for almost two years, former Team India captain Rahul Dravid is all set to make a comeback to the Indian cricket team for the tri-series against Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy.
Rahul Dravid was dropped from the squad in October 2007, but his fine performance during second season of IPL T20 tournament, not to mention his impeccable contribution to the Indian cricket over the years, has reinstated the confidence of selectors in him.
Dravid has played 333 ODIs, and is among the few batsmen in the world to have scored over 10,000 runs with an average of 39.49. All throughout his international career, Dravid has been The Wall for the Indian side both in the One-Day format and the Test cricket. He has single-handedly won matches for India and weathered the most potent attacks. He fulfilled his responsibility as a wicket-keeper, when the team needed him to; a captain, when Indian cricket was going through a tumultuous time, and as a batsman par excellence.
But will his inclusion benefit Team India? Will he be able to bring stability to Indian middle-order? Or will The Wall crumble?
Ganesha delivers an astro-numero prediction to test Rahul Dravid’s performance in 2009.
Rahul Dravid’s Horoscope
Ever since Rahul Dravid entered the Rahu Bhukti in January 2007, his performance has been under the scanner. No one can forget the last World Cup debacle of Team India. Moreover, Rahu is the weak link in his chart because Rahu is not only debilitated but also in Nidhanamsa (in Libra Navmansa) and placed in the 10th House of profession. He will remain under the influence of Rahu Bhukti till 21st October, 2009.
During the tri-series against Sri Lanka and the Champions Trophy in South Africa, he will be under the influence of Venus-Rahu-Mars. Mars is the Lord of 9th House (House of Luck) and is very strong, so we might see some spectacular innings from him. But he might not be consistent in getting big scores. He will be under the influence of Jupiter Bhukti from 21st October, 2009. Jupiter is well-placed in his natal chart, so he might try to break free and look to establish his credentials again. However, transiting Rahu may restrict his progress. The last quarter of year 2009 looks injury prone and decisive for his career. Transiting Jupiter would be passing through the 12th House (House of distant places) from 20th December, 2009. Moreover, Jupiter is the Lord of 10th House in his natal chart, so he might perform well on foreign soil in 2010. Ganesha thus feels that Dravid has plenty of cricket left in him and he deserves a second chance more than anybody else.
The year is also very important for him, as per numerology. His birth date is 11, so his birth number is 2. And the total of year 2009 is also 2. His life path number and personal year number is 5, so it’s going to be an important year for Rahul Dravid and may leave lasting effects on his career.
Wishing him good luck and may Lord Ganesha bless him.
