Rahul has been one of the main pillars of the Indian batting with his blend of technical perfect and stylish strokes. He is so perfect technically that he is considered as the “wall” of the Indian Team.
The horoscope of Rahul Dravid is very powerful having 5 planets in his tenth house of profession in fiery sign, which signifies his determination and confidence to face any tough conditions.
Jupiter- the Ascendant lord is also in 10th house and Vargottama boosts his self-belief and moral. The conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter makes him wise, steady and skillful. Such planetary influences have earned him respect from all the other players in both the versions of game.
Mars- the significator of courage and strength is aspecting the 3rd house of sports making it more powerful. The 5th house lord Moon in Ascendant makes him lucky, well mannered and gives high status in society.
With Mars, Sun and Jupiter Vargottama, he does have all the potential to become a good leader and successful player but he may not achieve the deserved success as Captain due to conjunction of Sun and debilitated Rahu. It may hamper his progress and may not allow him to become one of the most successful captains of Indian Cricket Team.
He is currently under the influence of Venus Mahadasha and Rahu Antardasha. Rahu is the only weak link in his chart. The Venus-Rahu-Rahu period seems adverse for him till June this year. The period between 16th March and 9th April seems slightly better and he may play wise and steady cricket as he always does. But the period between 9th and 18th April seems confusing and he is liable to make strategic mistakes during the matches scheduled in World Cup.
He is not going with much favorable planetary influences in this World Cup. The Wall of Indian Cricket Team does not seem particularly strong this time.
We wish him all the luck and may Lord Ganesha bless him and Indian Team!
