Barry Bonds indicted for perjury

Barry Bonds the free agent of Major League Baseball, the son of former major league All-Star Bobby Bonds and the godson of Hall of Famer Willie Mays has been a key figure in the Bay Area Laboratory Co-operative (BALCO) scandal since 2003. He was under investigation by a federal grand jury regarding his testimony in the BALCO case, and was indicted on perjury and obstruction of justice charges on November 15, 2007

He is born in freedom loving fiery Ascendant Saggitarius and the Lord of Ascendant Jupiter is placed in the 5th house of sports, entertaninment and performance. Atmakaraka Jupiter is very strong in his chart giving him plenty of ambition but Saturn’s influence and Sun’s placement in the 8th house depress his mental approach and lead him to falsehood or rejection of obvious truths.

Bonds testified before the grand jury on December 4, 2003. At that time, transiting Mars was in the third House separating from natal Saturn and squaring his Ascendant as well as natal Mars. The current perjury charges are based on his previous appearance. Currently, he is under the influence of Jupiter-Venus period and Venus is the Lord of 6th house (house of legal matters) and afflicted severely by Rahu and Mars in the 7th house leading him to severe legal problems and tarnishing his public image as well. His 9th house is also in tremendous stress due to heavy transit of Saturn and Ketu. He is due to face reversals and San Francisco Giants have already declared that they don’t want him back for the next year. The transiting Jupiter may act as a safeguard for him but it seems very unlikely that he could recover from this set back easily. He might face tough conditions and tremendous mental stress between February and April 2009.
