General Chavalit Yongchaiyudh, former Prime Minister of Thailand has recently declared that he has no plans to join Puea Pandin Party. Actually, his visit to Puea Pandin’s party caught everyone’s attention and everyone thought he might have some interest in joining the party but Chavalit said he wanted to `greet old friends’.
Chavalit Yongchaiyudh’s planets are very interesting. As per Vedic Astrology system, he is born with exalted thus powerful Jupiter but in the Navmansha chart it gets debilitated. This ensures that he is a `wise man’ because Jupiter denotes Wisdom. Jupiter’s sign of exaltation Cancer also indicates that he is diplomatic and quite good at politics hence able to handle the country or any political party efficiently but while Rahu (North Node) was transiting through Leo in Square position to his Natal Sun, the planet which indicates power and position, Chavalit decided to resign as prime minister due to Asian Financial Crisis. He came into power on 25-11-1996 while Rahu was in Virgo; a beneficial trine aspect was leading him to accept power and position. This indicates that Rahu plays major role in his life mainly due to its Sextile aspect with Sun and this aspect is almost exact. Rahu and Sun both are at Zero Degree. In his horoscope, Mars is in Aries, its own sign which indicates that he is firm and confident.
Ganesha notes that currently transiting Rahu is passing through Aquarius exactly opposite to its position when he had resigned. As per Astrological rules, Rahu’s transit through the 10th house from Sun, Moon or Ascendant gives strong desire to achieve higher or highest position. However, in his case, Saturn has strong opposition with Rahu which may give disassociation of some kind but not association. Moreover, due to some adverse planetary transits he may also have health issues by first week of May 2008. It is evident and clear that he is not interested in any association at present but this brilliant and wise prime minister’s opinions may play important role in Thai Politics, provided asked for. Transiting Mars is passing through Gemini forming Square with his Natal Rahu so even if he decides to join any political party at present, he might have to face difficulties.
Summarily, Ganesha feels that General Chavalit does not seem to have interest in joining the said party but during the days to come, all he might have to take care of is his health.
