Infosys was founded on July 2, 1981 in Pune by N. R. Narayana Murthy and six others: Nandan Nilekani, N. S. Raghavan, Kris Gopalakrishnan, S. D. Shibulal, K. Dinesh and Ashok Arora, with Raghavan officially being the first employee of the company. Murthy started the company by borrowing Rs.10,000 from his wife Sudha Murthy. The company was incorporated as “Infosys Consultants Pvt Ltd.”

Looking at Sun chart, there is Gemini rising Ascendant with conjunction of Sun Moon and Mercury. Rahu and Venus are posited in wealth house. Saturn and Jupiter are in conjunction and aspecting to Mars in 12th house. Here, Ganesha feels that company may get good quality of workers and Senior staff as well as proper harmony between staff and management during November and December. However, any affliction to Jupiter posts heavy expenditure and profits get eroded to a great extent. There may be expansion of its fixed assets and heavy machinery also because of Jupiter’s aspect on the lord of 4th house. The company will have good political and diplomatic relationship because of good relationship between Jupiter and Sun. Mars passes over Sun and Mercury from the first house. It may bring lots of controversies in functioning of management. But, Mars will get strong aspect of Jupiter after November; it may increase its overseas branches. Infosys Technologies has announced its Q2 FY08 result. The company in Q2 has crossed 1 billion mark on revenue front. The company has posted just 1.9% growth in net profit at Rs 1100 crore in second quarter of FY08 as against Rs 1,079 crore in previous quarter. Its consolidated net sales surged by 8.8% to Rs 4,106 crore versus Rs 3,773 crore (QoQ). The operating profit margin increased to 31.27% from 28.73%. These results are good satisfied.

Looking at the Horoscope of first trade in NSE, BSE, Pisces is the rising Ascendant. There is conjunction of Sun, Mercury, and Neptune. Jupiter is posited in 9th house and Moon is exalted. Mars is in 6th house and Saturn is in opposition. Rahu is posited in 8th house. 52 week high is 2415 and low is 1745. During this big bull in Indian Stock Market, this company is far away from its expected bull considered by other technical analysts. Company has less investment from overseas as compared to other IT companies even though its market cap is big enough. Company gets good investment by retail investors only. If you are a long term investor, Ganesha advises you to pick up this stock after a minor correction of 50-60 points. The performance of this stock (technically) is average in last few months but Ganesha feels that it will perform better in forthcoming months.
