• Ganesha wrote a week ago that the opening will happen from the bottom up, so be patient and adopt a wait-and-watch policy.
• Nifty will start creating a positive bias between 09:30 – 10:30. Buying momentum in large-cap counters may give confidence in early trades. Market breadth will also look supportive, so the overall tone can be called “okay okay”.
• During 10:30 – 12:25, the pace will be a bit slower than the previous slot, but the undertone may still remain strong. Despite some profit-booking, the indices may hold the gains till mid-session.
• 12:25 – 13:35 This slot could prove to be the most active phase of the intraday where buyers will regain control and broader market participation may improve, so that the market tone can be called a more positive slot.
• After the rally between 13:35 – 15:30, the tone will cool down a bit in the last session. Profit-booking and global cues will put mild pressure on the market. However, the decline may remain limited, an undertone current will be visible and this indicates that the next session will determine the direction.
