Bejan Daruwalla Speak!

Following are some excerpts from the aforementioned article, in none other than Shri Bejan Daruwalla’s own words –

I make predictions for some of the largest companies in India. Not all businesses use astrologers. It’s entirely down to the individuals and it is more popular in some sectors, such as the film industry, than others. I’ve done forecasts for businesspeople and politicians such as Baba Kalyani of Bharat Forge and Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur.

Astrology is very practical. You look at the various planets: Venus has charm, Mercury gives the power to convince, Neptune is the planet of chemicals and Pluto is the planet of the atom. I combine Western and Indian astrology, as well as the elements of the I-Ching system, runes and Tarot cards. I also choose Muhurtas [the best time to do something] for companies of all sizes and areas.

Some companies consult an astrologer before making big decisions, such as launching new projects and products or filling important positions. At the very least, knowing a right date/ Muhurat can give an enormous dollop of self-confidence to an organisation.

I also do more general forecasts. Looking ahead, I think there will be big shifts in the Internet within five years, physicists will find the God particle. Barack Obama is a man of destiny. South Africa, India and England will do very well in the coming years.

Although I am a great astrologer, I am not God, and sometimes I, too, can go wrong, so I tell my clients this quite openly. That way, they know I’m honest. Astrology is not always accurate, but it’s always exciting. I’m trying to do little bit of good, and leave the world a little better than I had found it. I’m a very sentimental fellow really.

How humble and unpretentious gifted people are! And, it’s no different in Bejan Ji’s case!
