- Today’s market story may unfold like this—the morning could begin with a bullish tone, the market may turn slightly unfavourable in the afternoon, buyers could then return, and sentiment may improve again ahead of the close. So today, it will be important not only to follow the trend but also to understand its changing character.
- 09:15–10:30 – Buying momentum may remain strong during the first move of the morning. The Nifty could advance quickly towards higher levels, with buyers maintaining a firm grip. If the morning momentum holds, this could offer the first good trading opportunity of the day.
- 10:30–12:30 – The market may pause for a while. Sideways movement and small swings could make the direction somewhat confusing. With neither a clear bullish nor bearish signal, waiting patiently may be the best approach during this phase.
- 12:30–13:45 – Sellers may begin to make their presence felt as the afternoon progresses. Profit booking could increase, putting downward pressure on the Nifty. The strength seen in the morning may fade somewhat, making this a testing phase for traders.
- 13:45–15:00 – But the story may not end there. Buyers could become active again, triggering a recovery move and pushing the Nifty higher. Just when it appears that the session is losing momentum, the market may change direction once again.
- 15:00–15:30 – The positive tone may continue to some extent until the close. However, this may not be the right time to take large fresh positions. The focus should be on managing and closing existing positions properly. Protect what the market has already given you rather than taking unnecessary fresh risks in the final phase.
