Over the last few decades, the average person's interest in the stock market has grown exponentially. What was once a toy of the rich has now turned into the vehicle of choice for growing wealth. This demand coupled with advances in trading technology has opened up the markets so that nowadays nearly anybody can own stocks.
This marvelous category of financial instruments is, no doubt, one of the greatest tools ever invented for building wealth. People thought that stocks were the magic answer to instant wealth with no risk. Market crash in 90s proved that this was not the case. Stocks can (and do) create massive amounts of wealth, but they are not without risks.

The stock market business can be divided into three segments roughly. 1) IPOs - Initial Public Offerings (primary market). 2) Secondary Market 3) Speculation
Owning stock in a company means owning part of that company. Each part is known as a share. So a shareholder is practically a partner in the company.
According to Vedic Astrology the 7th house of the chart signifies the Partnership. Venus is the Karaka planet for partnership. Saturn is the ruler of industry and the Karaka of investment as well.
Following are the Basic Yogas to get success in Share Market: 1) The Lord of 7th house is situated in the Ascendant, 2nd house or in 11th house 2) Saturn is situated in the Libra, Capricorn or Aquarius or otherwise powerful 3) Venus and Saturn are in conjunction and placed in the Ascendant, quadrant or trine 4) The exchange between Venus and Saturn 5) Native should not have 6-8 ratios between Saturn and Venus. 6) If Saturn and Moon are powerful and in mutually well aspected
If a native has all the above conditions fulfilled he/she can get tremendous success in the business of stock market. If one of the conditions is fulfilled you may get average success.
Success in IPOs: As per the Vedic Astrology, the third house of natal chart signifies application, correspondence and enterprise.
If you have any one of the basic Yogas and the lord of 3rd house either in exaltation or Swagruhi or otherwise powerful, it may give success in IPO. If the Lord of 3rd house is placed in the Ascendant, 7th house or in the 11th house it may also give success in IPO.
In short, if you have these conditions fulfilled you may get shares for which you have applied in IPO.
Speculation: Saturn is the Karaka of Investment whereas Mars is the Karaka of enterprise and ambitions.
If a native has Mars placed in the Ascendant, 2nd house, 5th house or in 11th house, he/she tends to be inclined towards speculations. If Venus is in conjunction with Mars, then the native will inevitably indulge in speculations.
The fifth house of chart signifies Speculations. If the 5th house is powerful or the Lord of 5th house is powerful or any powerful planet placed in the 5th house or Rahu is placed in the 5th house, the native may get success in speculations.
Sometimes it has been noticed that the debilitated Mars in the 11th house can also play a prominent role and native with such position may fetch good profit out of speculations.
