Will Trott trot, stroll or wander in this World Cup? Finds Ganesha
A century at the Oval in the Test debut and a duck in the ODI debut! Well, this is Jonathan Trott for you. 29 year old, South Africa born, English cricketer Ian Jonathan Leonard Trott is a right-handed middle-order batsman and an occasional medium-pace bowler. Coming from an eclectic background, allegedly with cricketing ancestors even from Australia, Trott has made his mark in the cricketing field, especially in the Test matches and ironically against Aussies, on more than one occasion. His personal score-card boasts of scores like 135 and 168 unbeaten in international Test matches, and glorious 245 and 134 in County championship matches. Before securing his place firmly in England's national team, Jonathan Trott had a rather circuitous route to follow. Beginning his career playing for the Under-15 and Under-19 teams of South Africa, Trott went on to play for the Warwickshire British county in 2003, as he had a British passport. It was only after playing three prolific seasons for his county and some real tough times at the ground that the never-say-die Trott finally made his international debut for team England in 2009.
Will this rather inconsistent yet determined player be able to set all the records straight, once and for all during this World Cup? Will he prove to be as prolific a batsman in ODIs, as he has proven already for Tests? Ganesha, by looking at his natal chart and employing Vedic Astrology, finds out!
This solid middle order batsman looks set to enjoy a roller coaster ride during the World Cup. The transiting Venus and Mercury will be helpful to him during the tournament, but the transiting Sun, Rahu and retrograde Saturn may cause a few glitches for him. His world cup campaign shall begin on a bright note with a good inning against Netherlands. However, scoring high against India looks dicey. Against the team Ireland, Trott will have a good day. Yet, all may not be well in some of the proceeding matches. He may not be able to convert a good start into a big inning in the matches against South Africa and Bangladesh. In the match against team West Indies, this unpredictable player may again find back his rhythm, and add useful runs to save the match. In quarter finals, Trott is likely to demonstrate an average performance. In case the team England reaches the Semi-Finals and the Finals, Trot shall put in a highly useful innings.
We wish him good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless him.
