Will England create history by securing the till now elusive World Cup trophy? Ganesha finds out
After a disappointing performance during the last World Cup in 2007, Team England raised many a hope by displaying a glorious performance at the World T20 Championship 2010. The team is known to give a tough fight when in form and ODIs have lately become its forte. One of the pioneer countries in Test Cricket, and the home of cricket as a national sport, England has always been rated at the top on the expectation bar, especially in the international circuit. Coming from the British land, where the first World Cup for cricket was organised in 1975, team England has always kept its countrymen asking for more. The team can boast of having some of the most talented cricketers of any time on board. Yet, the biggest trophy of the game of cricket has evaded Team England till now. The team has reached the world cup finals thrice in the past, but has failed to bring home the Cup! This time round, the hopes are high and the excitement is palpable after their flawless performance and victory at the T20 World Cup last year. Team England is set to play its first match on 22nd Feb, 2011 against Netherlands in Nagpur, India.

Will they create magic on the World Cup pitch? Will they finally break the jinx, and secure their first ever triumph in the 'big daddy' of all the cricketing events? Will the team stagger past the finish line or will it for once and all kiss the trophy? Ganesha, with the help of Vedic Astrology, finds out the future of Team England.

Ganesha feels that the transiting Mars, Venus and Rahu may cause few problems to the team England during the first round. England is likely to face stiff resistance even from a weaker team like Ireland. Their match against West Indies will be very important, and its result will have strong impact over England's World Cup challenge. They will have equally challenging conditions during the Quarter-Final matches. However, Ganesha notes that the transiting Mars will have a positive impact on England's team during the Quarter-Final matches. If, they meet either Australia or Pakistan here, the match will turn out to be a high voltage drama. And, England may topple them in a nail biting finish. England looks set to have tough planetary conditions during the Semi-Finals as well as Finals, though. The day of Final match is also not very favourable for them. So, their chances of becoming Numero Uno Cric-Champs are quite rare.

We wish the team good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless them.
