Will Dale Steyn 'swing' into top gear this World Cup? Ganesha finds out
Others' envy, team's pride ? is what Dale Steyn, the South African cricketer is all about. He can be aptly called the 'fast and furious' because of his bowling speed (150km/h), and also for the display of aggression and competitive spirit on the field. Being ranked as the number one test bowler in the world, he is the one who can give jitters to the best of batsmen in the world. Swing and reverse swing are considered to be his bowling styles. He is one cricketer, Team India needs to watch out for. The 27-year old cricketer is riding high on success and has achieved a lot in a very young age.

Will 2011 World Cup bring out the best in him or will the planetary positions affect his performance? Ganesha gives us some hint through Vedic astrology.

The fiery fast bowler of South Africa, Dale Steyn will have mixed fortune during the first round of World Cup 2011. Ganesha notes that the transiting Mars and Mercury are moving favourably in his chart, but the transiting Sun is not so favourable. Due to this, his performance may lack consistency. However, he may open his campaign against West Indies in confident manner and pick up wickets. But his performance against Netherlands will be wayward. He will find his rhythm against England and may create problems for English batsmen. He may also pick up vital wickets in that match. Against India he will bowl with aggression and may pick up one or two wickets, but he will be expansive. He will be in great form against Ireland and also against Bangladesh. He will certainly take two or three wickets in those matches. He will be useful in quarter-finals, but may not ball well during semi-finals. If South Africa reaches the finals, he will deliver fiery spell and take wickets, but he will be expansive.

We wish him good luck and may Lord Ganesha bless him.

With Ganesha's Grace,
