Unexplored Potential, a possibility in Suresh Raina's case! Ganesha foretells his future in Cricket World Cup.

Suresh Raina symbolises the new generation of Indian cricketers: attacking batsman, electric heels! He goes for the big shots fearlessly, and when on song, clears the ground quite effortlessly. Because modern ODI cricket is so fiercely competitive with so much at stake, a player can hardly afford to be a sloppy fielder. Every run saved is a run earned, and Raina, with his athletic fielding, has saved loads of those. However, it has taken him five years to cement his place in Team India. Getting out of the rut and away from the label of an ODI specialist, the fiery Uttar Pradesh lad Raina became, in July, 2010, the 12th Indian to score a Test century in a debut match. The thunderous century came in Colombo against Team Sri Lanka. The emergence, though, of hard-hitting match-winners like Virat Kohli and Yusuf Pathan has put a question mark on whether Raina will finally turn out in the playing XI during the World Cup, or will have to cool his heels on the bench, sitting on the sidelines.

Ganesha, with the help of Vedic Astrology, finds out the prospects of the talented yet unexplored Suresh Raina during the impending Cricket World Cup.

The aggressive young middle-order batsman of India, Suresh Raina will have favourable transit of Sun, Mars and Jupiter during the first round of the upcoming Cricket World Cup. He is likely to perform well in March against teams England and Netherlands. He is expected to make big score during these matches. In other matches of the first round, he will contribute a great deal for his team, and in all likelihood, shall score good runs. However, playing a big innings here is not a strong possibility. His performance will be average in the Quarter-Finals. Yet still, he may shine with the bat in the Semi-Finals. If team India reaches Finals, he may add some useful runs to the total. Overall though, his performance in the World Cup, to be played on the Indian Sub-Continent, may not be a true match to his great potential.

We wish him good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless him.
