Team Sri Lanka will count on Lasith Malinga’s bowling for its victory, predicts Ganesha.
A challenge for the batsmen and an asset for his team, that’s Lasith Malinga for you! A rare round-arm fast bowler, this Sri Lankan cricketer can make you sit on the edge of your seat and create a nail-biting situation, every time he swings the ball. Malinga is the only cricketer in the history to take four wickets in four consecutive balls in an ODI. Fondly known as Malinga the Slinga (for his bowling style), he was sidelined for nearly two years due to knee injury. He recently announced his retirement for the Test Cricket, to give a better performance in T20 and ODIs. However, his manager Charlie Austine later said that the cricketer was not firm about his decision. Malinga has often been a trendsetter with his weird hair-do, eyebrow pierce and tattoo.
Will Malinga be the man to watch out for in the coming World Cup? Will he pose danger for his opponent teams? Looking at his planetary positions, Ganesha predicts his performance with the help if Vedic astrology.
The explosive round-arm fast bowler of Sri Lanka, Lasith Malinga will have plenty of planetary support during this the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The transiting Mars, Jupiter and Rahu will have positive impact on his bowling performance. He will begin his world cup campaign on a positive note against Canada. He may bowl with tremendous aggression against Pakistan, but may not be able to fetch wickets. He will be in good form against Kenya, and may pick up one or two early wickets. He will stray wayward against Australia and may not be able to impress the Australian batsmen. His performance will be excellent against Zimbabwe and New Zealand as he is likely to take two or three important wickets during those matches. He will be very effective in quarter-finals and semi-finals. If Sri Lanka enters into the final round of the tournament, he will play a very important role and may take at least two important wickets.
We wish him good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless him.
