'Life begins at 40', they say. However, this is not true in case of sports persons, wherein the form and fitness are affected by the age factor. However, 39-year old Steve Tikolo, a Kenyan batsman is trying hard to live up to the adage and make it to the top, this World Cup season! This right-handed middle order batsman played a pivotal role in taking the Kenyan cricket team to the semi-finals during 2003 World Cup. Tikolo, who hails from a cricketing family, is the former captain of the team. Even after declaring his retirement in 2009 and his withdrawal from international cricket, Tikolo announced his availability for the CWC 2011.
