Scott Styris' performance will be vital for New Zealand during the World Cup, predicts Ganesha
Getting Sachin Tendulkar out is a dream of all bowlers. But to get him out in your debut match would be something unbelievable. New Zealand's all-rounder Scott Styris holds that distinction; he got the master-blaster out on his debut in an ODI in Rajkot in 1999/2000. Though 35 now, he is still going great guns, blasting a half-century against Pakistan recently. His name stands out for his excellent performance in the 2007 World Cup, which he began with the man of the match award in a win over England. Chasing 210, Styris made an unbeaten 87. Former England captain Nasser Hussain referred to him as a "street fighter". He made another half-century in the game against Kenya and 80 not out in a successful run-chase against the home side. In the Super Eight stage the Kiwis played Sri Lanka and Styris top-scored with 111 not out.

With the help of Vedic Astrology, Ganesha predicts the performance of Scott Styris during the cricket World Cup 2011, which is just around the corner.

The very useful all-rounder and one-day specialist of New Zealand, Scott Styris will have plenty of planetary support during this World Cup. The transiting Mars, Jupiter and retrograde Saturn may help him significantly. He is likely to begin his campaign on a positive note against Kenya. He may pick up two or three vital wickets during that match. He will be in good touch against Australia. He may make a useful contribution with the bat, feels Ganesha. He will play a very important knock against Pakistan and may also contribute with the ball. He may add some valuable runs in the quarter-finals as well. If New Zealand reach the semi-finals, his contribution will hold the key to success. He may play a very important role both with bat and ball. And if New Zealand can reach the final, he will contribute significantly with his all-round performance.

We wish him good luck and may Lord Ganesha bless him.
