Planetary positions during the World cup to provide Ed Joyce a great deal of energy
Ed Joyce has had the rare privilege of playing for two countries, his country of birth Ireland in the early part of his career, and then later for England, where he completed his residency qualifications in 2005, at the highest level. He was a member of the England squad in the 2006-07 Ashes series and 2007 World Cup. Since dropping down the pecking order for selection with England, the left-hand batsman and right-hand medium pacer has obtained special permission from the International Cricket Council to play for Ireland in the forthcoming World Cup. Joyce is widely regarded as one of the best cricketers produced by Ireland, and has scored an ODI century against Australia. Joyce in fact made his ODI debut playing for England against Ireland in 2006, before going on to play some remarkable knocks in Australia, and in the last World Cup.
