Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of The Tigers, is all set to lead his team for the forthcoming World Cup. Entrusted with the responsibility of a skipper, Hasan played his role very effectively at a young age of 22 in the year 2009! He brought joy and pride to the faces of the Bangladeshi cricket fans when under his leadership, Bangladesh won its first ever overseas series against the West Indies. Holding the record of scoring the maximum number of centuries by a Bangladeshi player, this left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler has topped the world ranking of all-rounders in the year 2009. Like other tournaments, Bangladesh enters into the World Cup 2011 as an underdog. But, with one of the best all-rounders in the world leading from the front, rest of the teams can definitely look forward to some firework on the ground.
