After repeated ins
and outs from the team, Misbah-ul-Haq has finally gained a firm
footing in the cricket team of Pakistan. There were times when his
performance was in question, and he was dropped by the selection
committee. But, he slowly regained the team's confidence in the year
2008, and how! In a much deserved comeback, Misbah was made the
captain of the Pakistan Test cricket team. His form in the recently
commenced ODI against Kiwis (New Zealand) was commendable. This might
be the reason why he was one of the prospective player for
captain-ship during this World Cup, along with Shahid Afridi.
However, eventually it was Afridi who scored that extra point and was
made the captain.
Will Misbah show his
aggression and temperament during his innings in the World cup? Will
he live up to the team's expectations? Ganesha finds out with the
help of Vedic astrology.
An
orthodox middle order batsman of Pakistan, Misbah-ul-Haq will have
plenty of planetary support during the World Cup. The transiting
Jupiter, Rahu and Mars will surely help him. He may begin his
campaign rather silently against Kenya. But his form will be superb
against Sri Lanka. He is likely to play a very important innings
during that match, feels Ganesha. He will add some useful runs
against New Zealand. He is likely to play big innings against
Zimbabwe. He may have a strong start of his innings against
Australians, but he may not be able to hang on for long. His form
during the quarter-finals will be good, and he will be involved in a
good partnership. However, he may not be able to perform well during
the semi-finals. If Pakistan reaches the finals, his contribution
will be significant with the bat.
We wish him good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless him.
