She is best-known for her portrayal as a serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film Monster which won her an Academy Award for Best Actress. She has also acted and starred in That Thing You Do, The Devil's Advocate, Mighty Joe Young, The Cider House Rules, Reindeer Games. Recently she was voted as the 'Sexiest Woman Alive'. Though voted as Best Actress in the 76th Academy Awards for her role in Monster, she was previously nominated as the Worst Actor in the Razzie Awards for her movie, Sweet November, in 2000.

Theron recently revealed that she had no plans of ever getting married to her long time boyfriend Stuart Townsend. The two of them have been through many marriage rumors throughout their seven-year romance but none of it has affected them and they are still as close and committed as any married couple, the only difference being that they are not married and they have no plans to change their situation

It appears on the basis of this news that she is not marriage material and is not interested in a committed long term relationship through marriage.
