As unpredictable as they are or steady and stable? How will the stars of Pakistan be in upcoming World cup?
Controversy is their second name! In fact, courting controversies and unpredictability comes naturally to them. Much has been said and told about these arch-rivals to India. Despite all this and more, the world has time and again witnessed the never-say-die approach of this temperamental team, that is Pakistan. Even in the heat of the setbacks like the mysterious murder of their team coach, they have managed to play with all the power and strength with their heads held high. Now, the question is - will they succeed in putting the recent ban of three of their young cricketers behind them, and continue unabated in this World cup? Going by the recent winning streak displayed by the team against the Kiwis in both Test and ODI series, the answer has to be a big YES! Add to it the confident and dauntless attitude shown by the team's captain Shahid Afridi and the team coach Waqar Younis, and the chances look quite bright for the team. Ones to play their first ever cricket match in the year 1952 against team India in a Test Series, these rugged and tough 1992 World Cup champions and 2009 T20 World Cup winners have a lot to prove to the world this time. As per a recent interview by Shahid Afridi, the team's chances are strong in this World cup. As per him, his team has shown tremendous teamwork despite distraction from the news of bans against spot-fixing, and that is what has enabled the Pakis to win the series against New Zealand.

Will the team Pakistan prove their raring-to-go captain right? Will the world get to see the thumping and adrenalin pumping matches between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan? Will we again witness the fervour and mania with tempers ready to go berserk any moment and records getting broken? Ganesha employs Vedic Astrology to find out -

Pakis look set to receive a good support from the transiting Rahu and Saturn during World Cup. However, the Sun and Mars will also be in transit during this period, which may create problems for them in the first round. Owing to the same transit, the period till 25th March may be slightly adverse for Pakistan. Their match during this phase may get canceled, or there may be some interruptions, which, obviously shall be frustrating for them. Yet, the team shall be able to show their mettle and confidence against most of their opponents. They will have to be particularly careful against teams like Canada and Zimbabwe. Complacency won't work in their favour here. Chances are strong that Pakis' match against some of the weaker teams may have some interruptions. However, in all probability Pakis shall reach the Quarter-Finals. The transiting Mars will exert a positive influence between 25th March and 28th March. So, if they play the 3rd or 4th Quarter-Final, they possess a good chance to enter Semi-Finals. There is not much planetary support for them during the Semi-Finals, though. Also, if they play against England or West Indies during Semis, problems for them may become insurmountable. In case, they reach Finals, the day may not be very favourable for Pakistan. Yet, if they meet Sri Lanka in the Finals, they may be able to repeat their 1992 magic of bringing home the cup!

Wishing them well!
