A few vital wickets but way too many runs from Sreesanth's ball in World Cup, foresees Ganesha
A hardcore Michael Jackson fan who revelled in dancing as a schoolboy, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth has grown up to be a fine medium-fast bowler. He hails from a part of the country (Kerala) hitherto unknown to produce a cricketer of any great merit. The temperamental pacer brings drama, charisma and controversy to the cricket field, which endears him to his fans. Apart from his bowling skills, Sreesanth believes in dominating batsmen from the opponent team with an aggressive attitude. He has had sledging bouts with batsmen round the world, and has been reprimanded for it on several occasions. The high point of his career was a haul of 6-for-55 against England. In Antigua in June 2006, he fired out Ramnaresh Sarwan and Brian Lara (for 0) in successive overs, and then took five wickets in Jamaica, which led India to a historic triumph. In the same year, he also claimed a haul of eight wickets against team South Africa in Johannesburg, which helped India win their first Test on the South African Land.
With the help of Vedic Astrology, Ganesha predicts the performance of this aggressive medium-pacer in the forthcoming World Cup.
The aggressive fast bowler of India, Sreesanth will have mixed fortune during the first round of the Cricket World Cup. Ganesha notes that the transiting Mars and Mercury are moving favourably in his chart, but the transiting Sun is not so favourable for him. Due to this, his performance may lack consistency. However, he may open his campaign against Bangladesh in confident manner, and pick up one or two wickets. He will be in very good rhythm against England and Netherlands, and is likely to create problems for batsmen. He may also pick up vital wickets in those matches. Against South Africa, he will bowl with aggression, and may pick up one or two wickets, but he will be expensive. He will be useful in the Quarter-Finals, but may not bowl so well in the Semi-Finals. If India reaches the Finals, he will deliver a fiery spell, and may take one or two wickets, but again here too, he will be expensive.
We wish him good luck. May Lord Ganesha bless him.
