Numerology and Your Name Chart
Make Your Own Name Chart
The Maths and Science of Numerology can very well be deployed to take a peek inside a person’s personality. Numerology is a window that can give a fair enough idea of one’s personality. This is done using one’s name, wherein the alphabets of a name are converted to numbers, and then they are placed into a chart. All this is as per the pre-devised guidelines of popular Numerology practices.
Each alphabet has a number allotted to it –
Let’s take an example to understand this easy method.
We take a common Indian name like RAJ MALHOTRA
and analyse using this method –
Now, basis the numbers allotted to the alphabets, we will place 9 in this table for the alphabet R, 1 for the alphabet A and so on –
Once this is done, the quantity of each number in the complete name is determined.
So, let’s now see what all numbers RAJ MALHOTRA has in his name –
Number of 1s – 4
Number of 2s – 1
Number of 3s – 1
Number of 4s – 1
Number of 5s – 0
Number of 6s – 1
Number of 7s – 0
Number of 8s – 1
Number of 9s – 2
Now, let’s make a Numerology Chart for him –
The numbers we allotted to the alphabets can be placed in a chart or Grid (Lo Shou Grid). Since we have four 1s in ‘Raj Malhotra’, we place four 1s in box 1. We start putting the numbers in the boxes from the left-side bottom. So we go bottom to top for every row. The boxes which have no number allotted to them, as per the name of the person, are left empty. For example the boxes for numbers 5 and 7 are left blank.
Now, each of the Number is allotted a special quality, and going by those qualities your Numerologist can analyse your personality. *Even you can try doing so, but remember, an expert’s advice is always preferable.
More the number of occurrences of a certain Numeric value, higher its influence on your life and personality. And then, the numbers that are missing from your name leave a vacuum of those qualities, the desirable side of which you can try to gain or imbibe.
Note : Try repeating the same for your name, and create your own Numerology chart. And then, using the following number interpretations that follow, interpret your Chart to find out preliminarily, how well it matches with your own persona.
The results shall truly amaze you!
The meanings of the Numbers
What is less and what is lot, when it comes to numbers in your name?
Quoting a particular figure for appearance of a number as reasonable or excess is not really possible. The presence of a reasonable figure of any number in anyone’s Numerology chart is dependent on the length of one’s name. And you will also need to look at all other numbers in the chart.
For example, for a person with only seven letters in her name, say Ria Ruia, number 9 will indicate an excess, as it appears four times (2 Rs and 2 Is), while 1 could be called as reasonable (it appears twice). On the other hand for a person named Rohit Raj Singh, 9, which still appears four times, may be called as a reasonable figure vis-a-vis other numbers.
People who have a reasonable number of 1s in their charts are most likely to be extremely confident. They ooze self-esteem and pride, and display ambition and originality in whatever they undertake. Fiercely independent and ready to walk that extra mile to achieve what besots them, people with number 1 qualities are most likely to stand out even amidst a crowd.
An excess of number 1s in a Numerology chart (at the expense of other numbers) is indicative of a domineering and overbearing personality. Such people may resort to brute force, when it comes to achieving what they want, and may even border on extreme insensitivity.
On the other hand, the absence of 1 in the chart indicates a personality that is timid and diffident. Such people are often low in confidence and self motivation. They will tend to drag themselves along the way life offers them on a plate, rather than making their own destiny.
Number 2 usually represents one’s ability to interact with the world – in short the interpersonal skills and dynamics of these relationships. Absence of this number in the Numerology chart indicates a personality that’s overly and overtly sensitive, making it difficult for the person to get on well with the people around him or her. This person may be too much into blame-games, and may simply lack the requisite people skills.
People who have a reasonable number of 2s in their chart vis-a-vis other numbers tend to simply scintillate when it comes to interpersonal and social skills. Tactful, intuitive and amicable, they can quickly put others at ease in any conversation. No wonder then that they end up doing quite well in the relationship as well as social front.
On the contrary too many 2s in a chart isn’t a good sign as the person tends to be supremely emotional, rather over the top, when it comes to interactions and people. Such people also are liable to lose out on opportunities, as they find it hard to speak up and stand up for themselves.
A reasonable figure of Number 3 in a person’s chart indicates a congenial, gregarious personality. They are the people who love to have fun, and much like the ones with ample Number 2s, they find it easy to strike an almost instant rapport with friends and strangers alike. Blessed with an ability to appreciate the finer things in life, they often tend to be creative and outgoing.
The ones who have an excess of Number 3s in their chart are most likely to be boastful, haughty, egoistical. Practically brimming with too many lofty ideas, they often find it difficult to actually put them to practice.
Absence of Number 3 from the chart indicates a person whose life lacks the vital element of fun. They really can’t let go, and are brooding, withdrawn and introspective. Many of them may even be very self-centred or at least egocentric.
This number is the indicator of work in a person’s chart. Its absence from the chart indicates a tendency to evade hard, manual work. Such people may be ready to put in work, but would really not like to work unceasingly, for long hours, without caring about anything else.
On the contrary, the ones with reasonable Number 4s are completely opposite. They are likely to be the ones who love taking up challenges, and the one who will most likely not mind slogging and burning the midnight oil to accomplish a project and meet a deadline. They may also be engaged in lines of work that require a keen eye for detail, hard, manual work or loads of running around like choreographing, event management, mining, civil engineering etc.
Excess of this number indicates an unbalanced personality. Such people may be the metaphorical workaholics- ones who won’t mind overloading themselves with piles of work. Too much of attention to details is also something that refrains them from being able to see the complete picture, and thus missing out on vital aspects.
Number 5 in Numerology charts signifies change and freedom. Naturally the absence of this number from the chart indicates a person who is averse to change; this person is likely to lead a limited life, restricted to what he or she deems good.
On the contrary an excess of this number in the chart leads to a person misusing his freedom and independence. Such a person is likely to overindulge in anything he or she savours, be it carnal pleasures, alcohol or drugs. Addiction is a high possibility with such people.
A reasonable number of 5s in the chart ensures that the person is bestowed with excellent time management skills. They tend to be astute time managers who have well defined slots for work and pleasure. These independent people enjoy changes, and take them up as variety and flavour of life.
This number is a lot about balance and responsibility, especially when it comes to practical and family matters.
A reasonable number of this number in the chart ensures that the person is capable of handling his family and domestic responsibilities in the most astute manner possible. They have their feet planted firmly on the ground, and are practical beings.
Absence of number 6 from the chart may indicate an overly idealistic personality. Such people tend to be unrealistic in their expectations in their desires to achieve perfection on the home and family front. Handling responsibilities could also be an issue for them.
An excess of this number in the chart indicates an overly anxious and fussy personality. These people are likely to be excessively concerned about their loved ones and family, and are liable to be taken for granted and even used by others.
There can’t be a thing as an excess of 7s. This is simply because of two reasons – for one it’s hard to find people with even a single number 7 in their charts, and then an extra number of 7s doesn’t really have a negative effect on the personality. Number 7 is the signifier of spirituality, self-actualisation and a higher mental plane.
An absence of number 7 is very common. Such people are likely to be impatient and impulsive, especially during their youth. They may not be inclined towards any one faith or religion. However, as they grow older, they may become searchers of some faith or philosophy that seems to pique them.
A reasonable number of 7s in the chart indicates an understanding, compassionate and sorted personality. Such people may have their own set of beliefs that they abide to, yet they are open to learning and new knowledge.
Too many 7s are unlikely, as mentioned earlier. However, in case of such a state, the person is likely to be very spiritually aware, and may possess a higher mental plane, as compared to the commoners.
A marked carelessness with money and material possessions is a typical quality of people without a Number 8 in their Numerology chart. Such people, although with a strong desire for money, are not good with pecuniary matters and negotiations, and may feel frustrated in this regard.
A reasonable number of Number 8 ensures a financial acumen that allows such people to move ahead at a steady growth path in the financial reign. The movement may be slow, but it will always be secure and continuous.
An obsession with money, power and everything material is a characteristic feature of people with too many Number 8s in their charts. Such people may even mar their own relationships, in order to progress ahead in the financial domain and power plays.
Rare to find, people with no Number 9 in their Numerology chart are usually the ones who really need to learn the lessons of sociability, compassion and benevolence. They do learn, but quite late in their lives.
On the other hand a reasonable number of 9s in the chart indicates a caring, compassionate personality – a person who is understanding and supportive, and is comfortable extending a helping hand towards others.
Too many Number 9s do not indicate a balanced personality, even though these people are not bad at heart. Such people can be bad followers of rules and norms, as they tend to believe that ‘they know the best’. They often, then, end up learning the hard way, from their own mistakes. Frequently involved in the troubles of the whole world, they end up getting hurt.
